Gori is inspired by “kakigori,”a shaved ice dessert enjoyed in Japan for centuries. Traditionally made by delicately shaving blocks of ice into soft, cloud-like flakes and known for its light texture and balanced flavors, Kakigori is a completely different experience from the carnival-style shaved ice many of us grew up with.

But Gori is more than just an inspiration, it’s a celebration.

Founded by Boston native and son of Ghanaian immigrants, Delasie Dela-Seshie. Gori draws flavors and traditions across the world, intentionally served with care, curiosity, and respect.

We’re not here to overcomplicate dessert. We’re here to bring you something unique but familiar, joyful and unforgettable, one spoonful at a time.
